Watch in Cinema

A group of teenagers escape the casual racism and rigid structure of organized basketball, and find self-expression in streetball. Witness the rise of the Notic, a streetball crew from the suburbs of Vancouver, who rose to fame in the early 2000s through their impressive style and charisma on the court. In this underdog story, told through archival footage and contemporary interviews from the crew, the Notic finally get the props they deserve.

This screening is aimed at an adolescent audience; the film contains discussions about addiction and drug use, and some adult language is used.

Tickets are $15 ($7.50 for those under 18). Free for members.
