Friends of Hot Docs

In 2024, we launched our first Friends of Hot Docs campaign where we recognized each and every donor who contributed to us. The campaign continued in June 2025, with a goal of raising $330,000 in honour of our 33rd annual Festival.

On behalf of the entire team at Hot Docs, we sincerely thank each and every one of the Friends of Hot Docs who contributed (over 2,000 donations!) to this campaign, as well as The Bennett Family Foundation, who generously matched the first $165,000 raised.
