This lushly animated documentary follows the journey of 14-year-old Mugeni Ornella as she and her family are separated and displaced by civil strife in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Mugeni must learn to survive on her own and ultimately makes her way to the United States, but her heart's deepest desire is to be reunited with her family. Eileen Arandiga
