Made In Chile: A spotlight on docs from Chile

In the desert town of Copiapó, in northern Chile's Atacama Desert, we meet Leonel Codoceo, a lonesome security guard who works for a local mining company. Like many from this region, Leonel has a special connection to the cosmos and the immense stars that blanket the night sky; he believes in the existence of UFOs and spends his time searching for proof that extraterrestrial life exists. Leonel passionately organizes what will be the first UFO vigil open to the public in the Atacama Desert. At the same time, he prepares for the arrival of Sara, his ex-wife, who returns from Australia to Copiapó to marry him again. Love and faith collide under the starry shelter of the night sky and the open spaces of the desert as Leonel seeks to make contact for the first time. Heather Haynes
