We're proud to announce that two 2024 Hot Docs alums will be receiving the honorary awards at the 40th annual IDA Documentary Awards.
At this year's ceremony, American documentary filmmaker Dawn Porter (
Luther: Never Too Much) will receive the Career Achievement Award, and Shiori Ito (
Black Box Diaries) will be recognized with the Emerging Filmmaker Award.
The Ceremony will be held on December 5, 2024, at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles. The show will be streamed live on IDA's social media channels.
