Stitches & Scenes: Stay warm this winter with a cozy movie to craft along to!
Geena Davis, Tom Hanks and Madonna star in Penny Marshall’s fictionalized account of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League, launched during the Second World War to maintain baseball’s money-making status while male players were fighting overseas.
"Penny Marshall’s direction is as sharp as the crack of a bat … by utilizing her top technical team, in particular composer Hans Zimmer’s big-band, swing-swing-swing type beats, she keeps the frames alive"—Duane Byrge, The Hollywood Reporter
ABOUT THE EVENT
The film will be played with house lights on for the duration of the film. We welcome guests to bring their own portable crafting lamps for extra light.
