Hot Docs is pleased to announce that the Rogers Audience Award and accompanying $50,000 cash prize, courtesy of Rogers, will be presented at the 2026 Hot Docs Festival.
Feature-length documentaries screening as part of Hot Docs Festival that have a Canadian director and are CAVCO certified will be eligible for the Rogers Audience Award.
Audience members can vote in cinemas by scanning the QR code on screen after the film. Voting closes 60 minutes after each screening. Votes will be tallied and the winning films with the highest average scores will be announced at a special encore screening on Sunday, May 3.
